Swift Group Warranty

Warranty (2012 models onward)

1.  SuperSure Warranty
   For all parts or fittings of your caravan or motorhome other than the body shell, Swift will repair (or at is option, replace) any defective parts or fittings for 3 years from the date of purchase (or hire purchase) subject to conditions, terms and exclusions.
2. Body Shell Warranty
   For the body shell, Swift will repair (or at its option, replace) any defects with the body shell for 6 years from the date of purchase (or hire purchase), subject to the conditions, terms and exclusions.
3. Extended Body Shell Warranty
   For the first owner, Swift will repair (or at its option, replace) any defects with the body shell for 10 years from the date of purchase (or hire purchase), subject to the conditions, terms and exclusions.

Auto Trail Warranty

Habitation compartment warranty

Your Auto Trail Motor home is offered with a two year manufacturer backed warranty for its’ habitation compartment, with the third year warranty (excluding water ingress and delamination) provided by MB & G Insurance (please note certain exclusions apply). It is possible to extend this insurance backed warranty to years four & five.

Body construction integrity warranty

For Auto-Trail vehicles from 2012 model year

On all new Auto-Trail and subsequent brand Motorhomes and vans sold to final customers and registered in the United Kingdom, Auto-Trail VR Ltd offers a 10 year Body Construction Integrity Warranty under the following terms and conditions:

General presentation of the 10 year Body Construction Integrity Warranty:

Years 1 to 5:

During the first 5 years, the warranty ensures the full coverage of all encountered water ingress issues or defects i.e. 100% of the material and labour necessary to carry out repairs agreed on by Auto-Trail VR Ltd with prior approval. For panel vans, the warranty does not cover the chassis, but does cover every converter cut aperture.

Years 6 to 10

From year 6 to year 10, the warranty covers the sole repair or replacement of permanent joint seals, however, the Customer will have to bear a part of the incurred approved repair costs (spare parts and labour). The amount of the customer’s participation which is paid on a public recommended price basis increases each year.

Coachman Warranty

For the 2014 model year all Coachman caravans carry a five year manufacturer’s warranty and a six year water ingress and body delamination guarantee.

This Coachman warranty does require that a full annual service be carried out by an authorised service centre. This service must be carried out within ninety days either side of the anniversary of the purchase date for interim years but before the anniversary date of the 5th and 6th year, in accordance with the National Caravan Council’s recommendations as detailed in the Warranty and Service Handbook.

Explorer Group Warranty

Your warranty cover commences on the day your new caravan or Motorhome is purchased and comprises two key elements:

• Three year manufacturer’s warranty
• Ten year body integrity warranty
• Warranty cover Scope

This applies to all new Elddis, Compass, Xplore and Buccaneer products manufactured from 2012 model year onwards.

Three year manufacturer’s warranty

Year 1 warranty – Covers all original components, including permanently fitted equipment forming part of the original product specification.

Year 2 and 3 warranty – Covers all original components, including permanently fitted equipment forming part of the original product specification, with the exception of the following items:

• Microwaves
• Tyres
• Batteries
• Windows and glass
• Deterioration of exterior paint work
• Soft furnishings, carpets and floor coverings
• Entertainment equipment
• Fluorescent tubes, bulbs, LEDs and fuses
• Plastic and GRP exterior panels
• Plastic products including A-frame covers, wheel spats and shower trays
• Minor adjustment of blinds, hinges, catches, stays and doors
